Text:1Chronicles 16 : 11

Seek the LORD and his strength, seek his face continually. ( 1 Chronicles 16:11 )

The opening Scripture forms part of the song David sang to the Lord. David had realized the importance of seeking the Lord for His strength, in fact he had realized the benefits of the continual face seeking of the Lord. God is ever ready to host His children who call on Him; He is never weary or bored by His children. God is very accommodating and receives everyone with open arms. There is nothing too little to speak to Him about; He is always ready to listen to us.
There is only one place that the fullness of joy can be found, this place is the presence of God. Thou wilt shew me the path of life: in thy presence is fullness of joy; at thy right hand there are pleasures for evermore. Psalm 16:11.

Again there is only one place, true happiness, joy, blessings, health, long life and all other good things you can think of can be found except in Jesus.

In the old covenant the priest and the prophets were the only people who could come to the presence of God. However, in the new covenant the children of God are born into the presence of God. This shows that as a child of God you can live in continuous joy if you fellowship with the Word of God and the Spirit of God.
